REC BACK TO PLAY GUIDELINES -2020

PLAYERS

• All players must have had their temperature taken at home prior to leaving for the fields. Temperature must be 100.4 degrees or lower. If it is not, do not come to the fields.

• If a player is experiencing any symptom of Covid-19, they must stay at home and contact their coach.

• Players should not arrive more than 10 minutes prior to game time.

• Every player must wear a face covering while entering and exiting the field.

• A hand sanitizer station will be available for every player at the field entrance to apply prior to warmups.

• During the game, players on the sideline must adhere to social distancing rules and sit or stand at least 6 feet apart from each other.

• No handshakes nor fist pumps when greeting teammates and staff.

• No close celebrations after goals are scored.

• During half-time and pre-and post-game speeches, all players must maintain social distancing.

• Players need to bring their own water bottles, labeled with their name (please bring enough for the entire game).

• Do not share equipment.

• Players are not to touch field equipment (cones, goals, flags, etc.)

• After the game, players should not congregate in groups, please exit the field.  

• Players should not take off any equipment until they have left the facility.

PARENTS/SPECTATORS

 • Spectators must have taken their temperature at home prior to coming to the fields. Temperature must be 100.4 degrees or lower. If not, do not come to the fields.

• Spectators experiencing any symptom of Covid-19 must stay at home.

•Parents should report any COVID positive tests to the league immediately. Your privacy will be ensured, but we have to report positive tests from our league.

  • Spectators should not arrive on the field more than 10 minutes before kickoff.

• Spectators must wear a face covering at all times.

• Spectators are limited to two adults per player. Parents with additional siblings of players are permitted to bring them to games under the same guidelines as adults. (Face masks required, social distancing at all times when spectating).

• Spectators must stay within your family group and stay at least 6 feet away from other families.

• No tents will be allowed on the fields this year.

• Spectators are not allowed to congregate.

• After the game, spectators should immediately leave the field with their players.

COACHES

• All coaches will take their temperature at home prior to leaving for the field.

• If a coach is showing any symptoms of Covid-19 they must stay at home.

• Coaches will practice social distancing with other staff and players.

• Coaches will be responsible for all equipment and must sanitize pre and post game.

• During half-time and pre- and post-game speeches, coaches must maintain social distancing.

• Coaches will carry hand sanitizer at all times.
