Club History

Western United Soccer Club has a history dating back over 40 years, currently in year 46!  It came to be in it's current format in 1993, when West Meck Soccer Club and Coulwood Soccer Club merged to form Western United Soccer Club. A good number of former players are now parents to some of our current players. WUSC has been a big part of the community in the greater NW Charlotte area for a long time and we look forward to having you join us to continue building the history of our club. 

Club Mission Statement

Western United Soccer Club strives to provide an opportunity for children ages 3-18 in our community to participate in recreation or competitive soccer. Our goal is to provide a safe and encouraging environment to our youth so they can stay fit, have fun, learn and enjoy the beautiful game of soccer!

Code of Ethics

Officials, Coaches, Parents, and Players should be held to a standard of behavior that supports and promotes a positive environment for everyone involved in youth sports. Parents and guardians have the responsibility and privilege of the primary role model.  Through regular practice attendance, good spectator habits, understanding that all children are gifted in different ways, providing unconditional support, and watching their child learn, improve, and show good sportsmanship, their sports experience will be fun and enriching. Coaches and officials have the responsibility and privilege of demonstrating, encouraging, and praising good sportsmanship, challenging players with age appropriate skills and teaching the rules of the game while placing the players' emotional and physical well being above the desire to win.
